Our Heritage
Our story begins in the fertile lands of southern Ecuador, where the family of Isauro Moran Serrano and Aida O’Brien cultivated and managed agricultural properties long before modern supply chains connected local producers to international markets. In the regions of Los Vergeles, known locally as El Páramo, Pozo Dulce, and Banchal, farming was more than an economic activity. It was the foundation of local communities, creating opportunities for families whose lives were deeply connected to the land.
For decades, the family was involved in the cultivation, harvesting, and commercialization of a variety of agricultural products that have long been part of Ecuador’s rich farming tradition. Growing up surrounded by plantations, harvest seasons, and the daily realities of agricultural production, future generations inherited a profound understanding of responsible farming, respect for nature, commitment to quality, and appreciation for the communities that make agriculture possible. These values became the foundation upon which AgroGesta Gold™ was built. Today, AgroGesta Gold™ represents the continuation of this agricultural legacy. We are proud to honor our family’s heritage.

Our Brand
AgroGesta Gold™ brand stickers are applied at packing level to ensure clear identification, traceability, and consistent presentation of bananas throughout international distribution channels.
Independent Quality Assurance
In addition to our fully traceable BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce) certified operations, we engage one of Ecuador’s leading independent security firms specializing in anti-explosives and anti-narcotics inspections. This third-party provider conducts comprehensive security screenings throughout the supply chain using highly trained Belgian Shepherd detection dogs and advanced inspection protocols.
Every shipment is thoroughly examined, scanned, and verified at critical control points before export. These inspections confirm product integrity, packaging compliance, export requirements, and shipment security. Through rigorous verification procedures, detailed audit documentation, and independent third-party oversight, we provide our customers with confidence in the consistency, quality, security, and reliability of every shipment destined for international markets.
